About the Role

As Event Manager, you'll take ownership of events after sales conversion through to post-event follow-up while working closely with venue teams, chefs, suppliers and clients to deliver seamless experiences.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage multiple events simultaneously across venues and offsite events
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, venue partners and suppliers
  • Prepare event orders, production schedules, floorplans, equipment orders and invoices
  • Conduct client meetings and site inspections to understand event requirements
  • Coordinate all event logistics including staffing, equipment hire and supplier bookings
  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure successful event execution
  • Monitor event budgets, margins and identify opportunities to maximise revenue
  • Maintain accurate event records, tasks and client information within Elite/Momentus
  • Conduct post-event follow-up to gather feedback and encourage repeat business
  • Attend networking events and contribute to generating future business opportunities

About You

You'll be an organised hospitality professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

To be successful, you'll bring:

  • Previous experience in Event Management, Hospitality or Catering
  • Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent organisation with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong administrative capability
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing quotes, budgets or event profitability
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent time management
  • Confidence working with event management systems such as Elite, Momentus or similar (highly regarded)
  • A passion for premium hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences
